a series of sampling sessions of an original roleplaying game
BC 143 | 12:00PM – 2:00PM; 5:00PM – 7:00PM
Everybody’s got a job. Everybody’s got a special set of skills. Everybody’s out for themselves. Everybody is stealing things. H.E.I.S.T. is a criminal’s guide to how everybody is doing just that and how you will get your piece of the pie.
A Criminal’s Guide to How Everybody is Stealing Things is an original, class-based tabletop roleplaying caper game developed by a group of 12 University of Baltimore students over the past 12ish weeks. You’ll progress your character from knocking over convenience stores to high-stakes art heists, scoping out targets, smoothly operating jobs, and orchestrating masterful escapes along the way. This group of students has worked hard to get their game to an alpha/beta/playtestable point and they’re ready to share it with you at the Baltimore Independent Game Seminar 2014 through sample one-shot campaigns offered throughout the day at the seminar. Come get a taste of what these talented students are building!
